Published at: 18 November 2022

On November 10, at the community shed of the Nehuen Co Community, located in the outskirts of Ingeniero Jacobacci, a training session was conducted by Dr. Franca Bidinost.

The activity was prioritized by the Nehuen Co Community and organized by the technical team of the Rural Extension Agency INTA Jacobacci. Community members, producers, technicians, teachers and students participated in the meeting. The work consisted of analyzing threats to the production chain in terms of presence of predatory species in livestock and strategies to mitigate the damage.

INTA is developing technologies in this area and during the workshop emphasis was placed on the work of livestock protection dogs, deterrent lights and appropriate management practices.

Finally, joint work actions with the Nehuen Co. community were outlined.
