We carried out a day of work in the corn silage field in Chos Malal

Location: Chos Malal
We carried out a field work day on corn silage in Chos Malal.
The focus of the talk was developed around the technique of corn silage, since it allows to obtain an energetic food at very low cost. And there are alternatives for all the productive scales present in the north of Neuquén.
We cut and chop whole corn plants to make the silage. In this way we will have forage reserves to feed animals in winter.

Objective: to self-produce fodder reserves for animal feed in winter.
We worked together with the Secretary of Production of the Municipality of Chos Malal.
This activity was broadcast on the radio and social networks. There was a large request for information and exchange of experiences thanks to the radio and social networks.
Producers from the Chos Malal valley participated.
