Access to safe water

Place: Laguna Chacayco - department of Minas. summer area

As part of the FONTAGRO project "Adaptation to climate change in family livestock farming", INTA Chos Malal's extension agency carried out a day of field work for the installation of an innovative water conduction system from a spring to the house of a demonstrator farmer.
The purpose of the workshop and of the work in general with the producers of the region is to evaluate technological innovations that improve the efficiency of water conduction to ensure this vital resource, which is becoming scarcer every year in the region.

Neighboring producers, affected by the decrease in water supply, participated in the meeting.

From the project we promote innovations that improve the efficiency of water collection, conduction and storage, allowing producers to have more of this irreplaceable resource, thus adapting to the effects caused by climate change.
