Webinar: Development of biofertilizers from the use of local resources for intensive sustainable production.

Published at: 07 October 2021

In the Andean Region of the 42nd parallel, the elaboration of biopreparations from efficient native microorganisms of the Andean Patagonian Forest is being evaluated among the agroecological practices.

Soil is the lifeblood of natural and managed ecosystems. Life in this soil is the basis for the sustainability of intensive fruit and vegetable production. In the Andean Region of the 42nd parallel, the elaboration of biopreparations from efficient native microorganisms of the Andean Patagonian Forest is being evaluated among the agroecological practices. In this webinar, within the framework of the FONTAGRO project, we present the development of the experience we have been developing in the co-innovation between technicians and producers of the elaboration and use of biopreparations from efficient native microorganisms (MEN) of the forest. The methods for the elaboration of NEM, the preparation of a biofertilizer, the supermagro and a biorepellent are shared. The formation of an interdisciplinary team, the inter-institutional articulation and, fundamentally, the co-creation of the technology with the producers allows the continued development of this technique to contribute to the reduction of the use of external inputs and costs, and to enrich soil biodiversity through agroecological practices.
