Pasture evaluation

A visit was made to Ricardo Mera's field in San Martín de los Andes, where the pasture was evaluated.

A visit was made to Ricardo Mera's field in San Martín de los Andes, where the pasture was evaluated, which was short because it did not rain enough in autumn and he could not sell the calves...therefore, he has more than 40 animals in a 28 hectares field.

The 15 months pregnant heifers were also seen, because they did not separate the bulls, with which we will do early weaning of their calves from 90 kg to about 120 kg to pay them to the field again and in this way, the heifers would finish their development without the load of the nursing calf, so as not to skip the next heat (these new calves would be the profit of the trial, compared to the cost of feed for the calves).
