INTA technicians Diego Sacchero, Ezequiel Gonzalez, Abel Martinez and Miriam Lopez from ENTE Desarrollo de la Línea Sur de Rio Negro, share their work experiences in Angora goat breeding demonstration fields located in the provinces of Río Negro and Neuquén.


The presentation is initially focused on an introduction of the main characteristics of the national production of Mohair fiber, its quality indicators, and a productive contextualization of the work sites.

In a second stage of this presentation, some concepts and results of the work experiences in demonstration fields located in the provinces of Río Negro and Neuquén, their main productive indicators and individual quality of Mohair fiber are shared. At the same time, conclusions are drawn on the work experiences carried out and productive alternatives to strengthen the production and quality of Mohair in the main regions of Argentina are discussed.
