Goat herd review

Published at: 05 August 2019

On July 31, an outreach day was held with the Community of Practice formed in Sierra Colorada.

An activity that aims to define the baselines of the demonstration fields that will work with #FONTAGRO.

On this occasion, the Miles family's La Hornalla establishment was visited. With them, we began with the review of the goat herd in order to have an initial diagnosis of the main problems they have, focusing on variables such as size of the establishments, productive stratum, state of the facilities of the establishment, nutritional management and body condition of the mothers.

This will make it possible to contribute available technological tools to improve the productive efficiency of goat farming systems.
