Indigenous communities benefited from biofortified bean and corn seeds at EXPOAGROSAVIA San Juan del Cesar, La Guajira

The Colombian Agricultural Research Corporation – AGROSAVIA, celebrated its 30 years in San Juan de Cesar on October 6 and brought to La Guajira all the technological offer available for the Caribbean. One of the most relevant topics was the bean experience in which tangible results were delivered, such as two publications obtained from the KOLFACI drought bean project, and resilient seeds with high iron and zinc content for the communities that were present. at the fair, sponsored by FONTAGRO high iron beans and the AGRILAC resilient Cesar initiative.
