Biography

Agricultural engineer, with a master's degree in agricultural sciences with an emphasis on plant breeding, PhD candidate in Agricultural Sciences. With more than 24 years of professional experience in planning and executing projects in: technology transfer for small and medium-sized producers in the Colombian Andean region, plant genetic resources for their evaluation and use, potato and onions breeding with the aim of releasing varieties with yield potential, tolerance to pests, quality attributes and fresh consumption. All projects have been developed under a participatory selection approach. School formation through the direction and co-direction of theses.
