Biography

Ph.D. in Materials Science and Technology (2011/Universidad Nacional de Colombia-Colombia), Physical Engineer (2005/ Universidad Nacional de Colombia – Colombia). Associate Professor of the Universidad Industrial de Santander and Associate Member of Minciencias/Colombia. Author of 31 peer-reviewed scientific publications in superficial areas such as nanotechnology, coatings, nanofertilizers and carbon nanotubes, among others. I have been a speaker at more than 40 national and international events. Currently, I am a researcher of the CIMBIOS / UIS group, cataloged A1 in Minciencias (highest category). I am the director of the undergraduate, Masters and doctorate theses. Guest researcher at international universities such as Newcastle University (England) or Centro de Investigaciones de Pesquisas Física (Brasil).
