Biography

Ricardo Peña is an associate professor of soil management and plant nutrition, and director of the Soil Unit and Laboratory, in the Department of Science and Agricultural Production of the Pan-American Agricultural School, Zamorano. He is an Agricultural Engineer, Specialist in Environmental Management, MSc in soils and waters from the National University of Colombia and PhD in Sciences (soil microbiology) from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. His research areas are focused on soil fertility and plant nutrition, soil conservation and regenerative agriculture.
