Biography

Aquileo Gonzalez de León works as a visiting researcher in the digital inclusion department of the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), Colombia. His areas of expertise are food microbiology, soil science, precision agriculture technologies, and data analytics. He is an engineer in Food Agroindustry from the University of Zamorano and has a master's degree in Sustainable Tropical Agriculture from Zamorano. His research area has focused on soil science, remote sensing (moisture sensors and drone images), multispectral image analysis, sustainable soil management and data analysis in agriculture.
