Biography

She was born in the city of Paraná in 1971. She obtained her degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the National University of Entre Ríos.

She collaborated as a teaching assistant in the Department of Genetics and Improvement of said faculty and in INTA-UNER linkage agreements for research on genetic improvement of flax where she carried out her degree thesis entitled “Genetic analysis of the response of flax (Linum usitatissimum L .) to the in vitro culture of somatic tissue ”.

She joined the EEA Concepción del Uruguay in 2001 as a Research Fellow and participant in the FONTAGRO project "Development of a strategy to obtain durable resistance to Pyricularia grisea in rice in the southern cone" and other INTA R&D projects .

He studied postgraduate studies at the Graduate School of the Faculty of Agronomy of the University of Buenos Aires and other institutions in the area of ??Plant Production with an orientation in Genetics and the subject of the thesis “Search for tolerance to low temperatures in rice germplasm (Oryza sativa L.) and identification of genomic regions associated with the trait ”.

In 2009 he joined the INTA plant as a researcher in the Biotechnology Laboratory linked to the Strategic Area of ??Biotechnology of INTA.

She is the author of diffusion articles, and articles presented to congresses and international and national magazines. He has participated in linkage agreements, INTA R&D projects and institutional projects financed by Science and Technology organizations aimed at the preservation and development of rice germplasm for the purpose of genetic improvement to obtain new cultivars.
