Biography

Zootechnician Agronomist Engineer, Master Science in Sustainable Animal Production (UNA), researcher in the livestock area of INTA Costa Rica, teacher and researcher at the National University of Costa Rica (UNA) (2013-2020), tutor of the undergraduate thesis of the Engineering degree in Agronomy from UNA, author of publications on pastures and small ruminant livestock systems in Costa Rica and speaker at technical and scientific conferences. The area of interest is the comprehensive analysis of livestock systems and characterization of systems at the national level as an input for the development of public policy and technical intervention strategies. In addition, he has developed research on grazing management in tropical systems in a diversity of environments and conditions, for the understanding of the variability of biomass production and quality of pastures; as well as its response in the production of milk and meat.
