Virtual course on implantation of pastures and use of preserved fodder

Fegasacruz Bolivia, together with the Agricultural Training Center organizes this virtual course for an audience that includes cattle ranchers from the South American Chaco region cattle productivity project

The course is addressed to farmers who are part of the organizations affiliated with Fegasacruz, among which are AGASBOY, AGACOR, AGASCUEVO, AGACAM, AGADEG  and AGACABEZAS that actively participate in the pilot sites and the demonstrations of the FONTAGRO project.

The objective of the course is that the livestock producers of the Bolivian Chaco could understand criteria and develop specific skills for the correct choice of the forage species that will sow, planting techniques, and the management of the establishment and feeding of cattle with tropical pastures.

The professors in charge of carrying it forward are Fernando Nenning, who works in production and use of megatermic pastures in INTA´s Extension Agency in Formosa, (Argentina) and María Soledad Ruolo Researcher in management of subtropical pastures based on the Institute of Physiology and Plant Genetic Resources of INTA in Córdoba (Argentina).
