Biography

Agricultural Engineer graduated from the National University (Medellín), Magister in Phytopathology at the University of Caldas (Manizales). Researcher with training and experience in Diagnosis of phytopathogens in plant species of economic importance in the tropics. With experience in research and integrated management of diseases in fruit trees (blackberry, tree tomato, lulo, cape gooseberry, banana) and vegetables (lettuce, broccoli, onion). Research trajectory in anthracnose (Colletotrichum spp.) In blackberry and tree tomato. Also with experience in technology transfer to interest groups (students, producers, technical assistants). Speaker at national and international seminars and congresses in the areas described. Director and jury of undergraduate and master's thesis. Reviewer of articles for several scientific journals. Corpoica Researchers Productivity Award, Outstanding category for the period 2005-2008.
