Formulation, execution and leadership of national and international projects on ecology, integrated pest management and genetics of insect pest populations with emphasis on the borer of the fruit of the nightshade Neoleucinodes elegantalis (Lepidoptera: Crambidae). Taxonomy of Lepidoptera: Crambidae and Hymenoptera: Trichogrammatidae Currently leading researcher of the macroproject financed by the SGR Nariño "Strengthening the panelero sector through agricultural and agro-industrial research and innovation in the department of Nariño" related to the selection of varieties of sugar cane for panela , biological control of Diatraea spp., biological fertilization, by-products and increased thermal efficiency in the burners.
