Patiño Torres

Biography

An Agronomist from the University of Nariño, he has a Master's Degree in Biotechnology and a Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences from the National University of Colombia. He has worked as a teacher in several universities, currently being linked to the University of Tolima, as an associate professor. The chairs in which he has worked include genetics, experimental design, soil biology and chemistry, and agricultural microbiology. He is currently in charge of two doctoral theses. He has been a proponent and co-investigator in several research projects financed with national and international resources. He is currently a researcher recognized by Colciencias and a peer of the Ministry of National Education.
