Biography

Researcher at the Latin American Fund for Irrigated Rice (FLAR) and the Prospects and Applied Economics Unit for the Impact of the Bioversity-CIAT Alliance. Engineer in Environment and Development from El Zamorano University and M.Sc. in Rural Development from the University of Ghent. He is currently co-leading the Rice Observatory and working on several research topics in markets, competitiveness and sustainability of rice cultivation in Latin America.
