Biography

Engineer in Water Resources (FICH-UNL, 1990) - Magister Scientiae in Irrigation and Drainage (Fac. De Cs. Agrarias-UNCuyo, 2000). Doctor of Science, Program in Irrigação e Drenagem at The Luiz de Queiroz Higher School of Agriculture (ESALQ) of The University of São Paulo (Brazil, 2014). Professor at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences since 1995. Currently exclusive Ordinary Associate Professor, responsible for the Diagnosis and Water Technology subject of the Agronomic Engineering career (FCA-UNL). Category II in the Incentive Program. Permanent Professor in the following programs: Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences (FCA_UNL), Master’s degree in Intensive Crops (FCA-UNL), in Irrigation and Drainage (FCA_UNCuyo) and in Irrigation and Agricultural Water Management. His research activity focuses on the planning, design and operation of irrigation systems, evaluation of surface and subsurface water dynamics, quantification of water balances at the batch level and at the regional level, agronomic practices for the management and conservation of farm water, design of strategies for the optimization of water use in rainfed crops and water resource planning studies.
